World Social Buddhism means following and applying the teaching of Buddha, which is the Dharma, throughout our daily lives amidst a social atmosphere. The Dharma helps us to improve our family life, relationships, businesses and professions and many other aspects of the social world, by keeping the mind clear and bright through the Buddhist practices, thereby benefiting ourselves and all others.
Social Buddhism can be traced back, directly to Shakyamuni Buddha. Our Dharma Master, Supreme Matriarch Ji Kwang Dae Poep Sa Nim, is one of the few masters since Shakyamuni Buddha who teaches Social Buddhism. Her Daily Reminders show us how to go about life in a social environment, with wisdom and clarity. The meditation techniques that we learn from Dae Poep Sa Nim, which is our Yun Hwa meditation, are easily integrated into an often challenging daily life, providing us with great support, protection and clarity.
Social Buddhism, therefore, enables practitioners to free themselves from all confusions and blockages and to lead a self-determined, satisfying and positive life.
